I am a photographer focusing on an emotional & vintage approach to my photography. I specialize in children, families, & seniors, with the occasional wedding.
Logo types to explore
update - I love this look and style - http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-99201575/stock-vector-vector-set-calligraphic-design-elements-and-page-decoration-premium-quality-and-satisfaction.html Target Audience: Families with children, seniors, people open to having portraits taken in an unconventional manner. I get to know my clients really well and incorporate things they are interested in. If a senior loves music, I light them up on a beautiful stage and photograph them playing emotionally. Last year I had a Senior who loves water and I captured her jumping through a fountain. I build personal relationships with people that are unique and strive to make my images portray that. I also do the occasional wedding so my logo really needs to be multi-functional. My logo ideally would represent a strong business but with a feminine edge. I really love bright, vibrant greens (think spring grass). I would like to convey an image of timeless classic mixed with a touch of vintage. My website has elements of lace and linen which will be remaining, the rest of the site will be reconstructed to follow the brand my logo will be conveying. View the website here: http://www.violetphotographyanddesign.com/ I've attempted several logo designs on my own and while I have liked both of them, neither of them have had any staying power. With my current logo, I really do not like the first font (Simply * Glamorous) but I love the second (Champagne & Limousines.) I like fonts that have a uniqueness to them. Some favorites are Trajan Pro, Birmingham, Champagne & Limousines, Jellyka Delicious Cake, Sudestada, Vermandois, Bellucia (love), Emily Lime, Lavanderia, & Saissant. I love Italy, anything romantic. These are all things I am wishing to convey with my business. A vintage, romantic, upscale, professional image. I enjoy the bird that I included immensely, incorporating a bird, while not a requirement is definitely something I would like. I like crests too, I think they evoke a powerful and longstanding feeling if done properly. A few other logos I like the look of: https://99designs.com/logo-design/store/33458 https://99designs.com/logo-design/store/24385 https://99designs.com/logo-design/store/33650 Nothing cartoon-like, please. If it's abstract, that's fine but I don't want a bunch of little baby birds and fake flowers. EDITED TO ADD: I am also open to any creative insight as well. Please feel free to use your own ideas. Share your creativity and expertise, please! THANK YOU!! EDITED TO ADD: I added some logos that I like below. If the logo is JUST text, the text is only a reference of what I like for a font, not a logo. I would like my logo to be more than just text.

When we came to 99 designs with just an idea and a inspiration board we thought our wants were not possible. We needed 2 seperate design styles blended into one. Alicia was able to create that for us in what seemed an effortless task. She is intuitive, creative, inspiring and professional all at the highest level. When someone says the phrase 'Level Up', you can bet that applies to her and her talent. For us, as a small business, she was very easy to work with. Alicia tuned in to our vibe and was able to take our thoughts and feels and make them a reality we didn't even dream of. We are thrilled beyond words with her design and are eager to start implementing it into our business. We truly couldn't have predicted how amazing this experience has been. We look forward to maintaining a professional relationship with Alicia to work on future design needs. The universe sent a gem our way in her. Thank you Alicia!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
