Brand Overview: • We are a new brand which designs and manufactures backgammon sets and equipment (i.e., boards, checkers, dice cups). Brand Mission and Vision: • We are re-inventing backgammon style to make it fun and modern and fashionable. • Historically, backgammon brands have been boring and stuffy. Backgammon brands usually use dull or muted colors and low-energy design elements. We are going to change all this! Target Audience / Demo: • U.S. women and men • Ages 25-50, with a bullseye of 35
Project Requirements: • A logo which includes: o The words “Backgammon Baby” in typeface or script o A mark which is an independent design element • The final version of the logo should include a version for use on a: o Dark or black background; and o Light or white background • A color guide which identifies all colors by RGB and/or CMYK. Creative Guidelines • Colors o Use one or more bright vivid color(s), but avoid color schemes which are psychedelic or fluorescent o Avoid traditional backgammon colors, like navy blue, forest green or burgundy red. Blue, green and red are not off-limits, but the classic shades listed above should not be used. • Typeface or Script o Should be distinctive, funky and high-energy • Design Elements o If you’re going to use a recognizable backgammon element such as dice, a dice cup, or a board diamond, be sure to create an original interpretation. o Don’t be afraid to venture into conceptual elements which you believe appeal to the demo (see below). • Stay away from anything stuffy or traditional or low-energy. No “cigar brand,” “country club” or signet designs. Our brand wants to create the following emotional responses in our customers: • Excited, fun and high-energy
