Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I'm a freelance consultant and the logo is for my consulting company in the area of Life Sciences - Molecular Diagnostics. My customers are start-up, medium sized or large companies developing and/or selling products for detection of DNA by real-time PCR. I'm helping such companies with technology know-how, product design and strategic topics.
I see myself standing for dynamic, growths and success.
My website has a basic design, need a logo for it: http://www.holgerengel.com

What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
FYI: HEX #6ba1d6 is blue used on my website.
The logo shall have colors supporting my web site design at http://www.holgerengel.com - main colors Blue, black white. Should be in this spectrum. May add one color more to have an eye catcher, but not too much.

My initials H E can be nicely fused to something as part of a logo.
My technology consulting services are in the field of DNA and real-time PCR. The elements for this could be part of the logo:
e.g something that reminds on a DNA double helix. Or a fluorecent DNA probe - . Or a real-time PCR amplification plot (an raising arrow curve) - all elements standing for dynamic, growths and success.
You may check google pictures for examples of the mentioned biological elements: DNA, Real-time PCR amplification plot, and fluorescent DNA probe ;-) There are many examples of DNA logos on google.
I've uploeaded below some basis hand drawings of some ideas, just to give you a glance (sorry, I'm a lousy drawer..;-). Some are likely clearly overloaded, and may need to be reduced/stylized. The bubbles and the end of the structures shall be something like a fluorescent dye on a DNA. Some elements - the stripes between the lines - may illustrate Hydrogen bonds (the structures that hold the two DNA strands together). The arrow is an amplification plot but also stands for dynamic and growths.
You may incorporate none, some or all of the elements, I'm open.
The logo should be elegant with few smart nice elements and not overloaded, including my full company name.
