How purelyrandom started their logo & business card journey
Who are you known as?
925 Edjj (or you can put 925 edjj i.e. a lower case 'e' if you think it looks better)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
925 Edjj (think "9 to 5 Edge") is a new business.
We are still designing our products and services but essentially we will deliver workshops / training courses to small businesses and also teams within (larger) corporate businesses.
Our main audience is office workers i.e. people who typically work behind a computer all day. Think white-collar (or knowledge) workers.
BUT ... we also want to attract small business owners who e.g. run a cafe / hairdressers / retail shop etc. Any business in which the owner needs to manage a team, even if it's just a handful of people.
To help you get a better feel for what our particular courses are (in case this influences your thoughts around design), our main course is titled "How to Be a Great Manager". So it's work-related stuff. Our style of delivery will be a mix between being professional and fun/slightly maverick.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What colors do you want to see in your design?

i really like this design. it's professional yet a bit quirky and the cow design/image is unique and clever
As a new business, we will be offering a range of training courses that "give you an edge at work" and "help make work better". Now we don't want to be perceived as being too 'corporate' (or stuffy / false - you get the idea). At the same time we don't want to come across as hooligans, or as a joke. Hence we want to position ourselves as halfway between corporate (professional) and fun. And we want our logo to reflect this.
Our point of difference is exactly that: we want to help people improve their work skills but with real, practical and enjoyable training that is delivered by professional people who are outgoing, fun and intelligent.
In terms of logo design, this is slightly tricky yet very interesting. Why? Because we are a blank canvas. We're not sure what we want ... so we are very open to your ideas and designs! We like designs that are simple but clever; designs that stand out and are creative but also a little playful/quirky.
We are keen to be inspired and even surprised. Hope you can help, and good luck with your designs.
