MrBowler delivered a great logo design for my new company, and worked to my brief 110%.
Appreciate the time and effort spent on creating revisions off my ideas, so I could settle on the right design.
Would definitely work with again on future projects.

A few ideas I have:
1. We are based in Jacksonville FL. There are five signature steel bridges downtown that are unique in structure type, color, and shape. From North to South: Dames Point, Mathews, Hart, Main St, and Myrtle Ave. I think it would be unique to incorporate all five bridges into the logo - just clip art type outline of each bridge shape with very simple lines. We have a park in Jacksonville called Cancer Survivor Park. This park has miniature replicas of all the bridges and they are positioned in the same order and direction as the real ones. This is similar to what I am thinking although the logo bridges should be much simpler. This idea is great because not only would it represent where we are from (Jacksonville), but also shows the different structure types we are capable of handling. So a drawn image of the bridges and then the letter FIT next to it as an idea. Incorporating the climbing somehow would be cool too (maybe write FIT out of climbing rope… I don’t know).
2. FIT - large letters FIT and somehow incorporating a climber/rappeller figure (with pony tail - owner of company is female) or incorporate climbing rope or some piece of climbing gear.
3. FIT - where the letters take the shape of an arch bridge or the letters become the three piers of an arch deck truss or three supports of a main tower cable stay bridge.
In any case, the word Engineering should be spelled out as part of the logo. To view two logos that I like, google "Hardesty and Hanover Logo" and "SPRAT logo". You might also want to google images for the bridges and bridge types that I mentioned above. Attached photos are of the cancer survivor park bridges and a couple of work photos just to give you an idea of what we do.
