How Heath Westbrook started their logo & business card journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Consumer electronics for farms. Helps people automate their agriculture business. Some current products we are testing automate wind machines and irrigation valves on Vineyards.
We also plan to move into any and all other types of farm automation and farms, so please don't center it on irrigation or vineyards. Especially not on irrigation / water saving, as this is what most of our competitors do.
Also, we want to sell people a product with the most value we can. Many of our competitors sell things for $2000+ -- we want to sell the same thing for $100-200.
altrac is short for alternative tractor. We want our customers to think of these devices as the new workhorse on their farm. We believe people will transfer work from the current tractors to our devices the same way they did from horses to tractors.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I like stark color differences, such as black and white. Not sure how to convey this here

The logo needs to be simple enough to look good on a hat like this one: http://www.patagonia.com/us/product…?p=38080-0. In general, I like what Patagonia does with their designs as they are easy to understand and can be used for all sorts of different products -- stickers, hats, shirts.
