4th Wall Theatre is a semi-professional, non-profit company in NJ which focuses its top-notch producing efforts on edgy and seldom-produced musicals and plays.
What's your vision?
We need three graphic designs for our three 2014-15 season productions: She Loves Me (musical), Next Fall (play), Hands on a Hardbody (musical). The three designs should be distinct but unified by style and colors so that they can be presented as a group. ---- The season has been presented initially as a season of love stories. SHE LOVES ME is a classic 1963 musical about pen pal lovers who don't realize that they know each other (and dislike each other) at the 1930s parfumerie where they work; it is based on the same story as the --- Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan film "You've Got Mail." NEXT FALL is a play about two gay men in a committed relationship; one is devoutly religious, the other is an atheist. When a sudden accident puts their five-year relationship in jeopardy, Adam must turn to Luke's family for support and answers. --- HANDS ON A HARDBODY is a 2012 musical about the real-life annual Texas contest to win a truck by being the last person standing with a hand on the truck. The love story here is between the contestants and the dreams the truck can help them fulfill. We can make scripts available to anyone who would like to read them, although other online/iTunes research could provide thematic images that would work. Be creative. We are looking for eye-catching style and images that entice the viewer to find out more. ---- We are looking for the art side of three separate 4x6" postcards that we use for mailings, but the main graphic portion should be contained within 4" by 4-4.5" so that we can lay in text (cast and staff lists, production dates, etc) on top of the remaining 1.5-2" later. Large jpgs from Photoshop are best for our purposes. Samples of pre-postcard artwork from our last three seasons are running in slideshows at the bottom of this page for you to peruse: http://www.4thwalltheatre.org/past-shows.htm Thank you for your interest!
Our website at http://www.4thwalltheatre.org has lots of photos and some graphics from past seasons (especially in the right column and in the slideshows running at the bottom of this page: http://www.4thwalltheatre.org/past-shows.htm), which we don't particularly want to duplicate. The graphics we have used for 2014-15 so far are strictly temporary placeholders until we can get something great from you!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Illustration or graphics starts at €319.
