Games & Recreational
We're building an html5 virtual world. Our first campaign is called "Gamify America" where people from around the world can vote on Presidential candidate they support.
What's your vision?
We need all of our avatar skins updated(base body, eyes and mouth) as well as need new emotional states for our avatars on Gamify.com. BODY: We need all 5 skin tones for male and female to be revamped with a little shade/gradient to them, instead of just plain one color. Also just anything you can think of to make them look better, just they need to stay the same size as now to fit with how we put together our avatars dynamically(starting with base and then adding layers). EYES & MOUTH: We need new eye designs as well as new mouth design. The mouth design probably should stay simple like it is now, just try to make it better however you can -- but, we're open to you being really creative with it. We need a passive mouth state(when not talking) and a state for when you are talking. The passive mouth should have a slight smile, like how most cartoons do to make sure they don't look sad. We need the following emotions(which should include a different mouth state and optionally eyes state for each): smile, laugh, scared, bored, excited, super excited, doubtful, sick, in love. Bonus for any other cool emotions you can think of:) These emotions need to help bring the avatars to life and make people feel something for them! Things to possibly try to improve the avatars: *A subtle nose/ears *Eyelashes for females *Teeth REFERENCE: Style wise, we really like the Simpsons and similar animation that is a little funny. To get a better understanding of what we are building, you should visit http://gamify.com/america and http://gamify.com/demo. You can see a demo of all of our current avatars at http://gamify.com/avatar/test and you can modify avatar at http://gamify.com/yourself. works best if you are in Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari. I've attached the base skins for male and female tones to update with better tones etc. Also for reference I've attached our current mouth/eyes. The mouth and eyes must be separate layers because how we build the avatar is the body is one png, the mouth is another png, the eyes are another png, etc. To understand how the emotions work, you can enter /america and try to vote and see the smile. If you try again, you will see a frown. Also when you type in chat, you will see your mouth moving. We need many emotional states such as these. Thank you, we look forward to seeing your designs! Also, we have several other contests going on for Gamify.com so please check out our profile!
Good luck, we appreciate all of your designs!! We hope to find awesome designers through these contests that we can pay for work on an ongoing basis as our art needs continue to grow. Also, we have 4 contests going on right now so please make sure to check out our profile to try the other contests if you're interested!
