The illustration will be one image with 3 side by side panels.
The overall look of the 3 panels needs to be like similar to reference1.jpg and reference3.jpg We want the style of the illustration to be about the same.
Here is what we want to show for each of the 3 panels:
1) In the first panel on the left, it should show what a pearly penile papule looks like on the inside. We will show a front view of a papule (pimple) (similar to reference2.jpg). We also want to show smaller bumps on the nearby surface and background surface to show that there are many bumps on the penile skin and we are focusing on just one papule.
Now for the papule, look at reference2.jpg
This reference is at an angle but we want the view to be more front view like reference1.jpg
However, in reference2.jpg we have tried to show the papule has a black clump in the middle. Please show this clump deeper under the surface and show the surface poke out more and make the bump look more pointed. Make sure you show the layers if the skin similar to reference2.jpg and just put the fibrotic clump in the middle layer so that it touches the top layer and the blood vessels at the bottom. We want it to look like the blood vessels are reaching the fibrotic clump. The fibrotic clump should not just look like a round ball, We want it to look like a round ball with many strings (like a ball of yarn). The top surface should look smooth, slightly pinkish and slightly shiny (like the penile head).
2) In the middle panel we want to show the fibrotic clump in the under the papule to start breaking down. We want to show the gel as forming a film on the surface and little droplets getting through the surface and then the droplets making the fibrotic clump smaller. We are thinking of showing the breakdown effect as the individual strings coming off the ball, some of the strings dissolving into the surrounding tissue with a fade out effect (you can use your own imagination as long as you show the surface bump getting smaller, the fibrotic clump getting smaller and the gel penetrating the deep layer.
3) In the last panel, on the right, we want to show the fibrotic clump completely gone and the bump on the surface gone as well. (see reference4.jpg)
In essence, it's like showing a pimple (acne) being treated with acne medicine.
