Medical & Pharmaceutical
Since 1976, Sanctuary Centers has been providing innovative and comprehensive mental health care services in the community of Santa Barbara. We offer evidence-based alternatives to the norms of modern mental health care. Rather than forcing clients to choose between intense in-patient hospitalization and inadequate outpatient treatment plans, we offer a community-based continuum of care that includes a varied range of practices and services to anyone adversely affected by mental illness. At Sanctuary Centers, our programs to help our clients reintegrate back into their communities, and their lives, come in the form of four programs: 1. Mental Health Inpatient Care 2. Mental Health Outpatient Care 3. Mental Health Supportive Housing 4. Mental Health Integrated Care
What's your vision?
We are looking for a graphic that incorporates all four of these programs. Together, all four programs make up our “Continuum of Care” model. We're looking for a brand new graphic to represent Sanctuary’s four programs. We are not looking for a new Sanctuary Centers logo, just a new graphic to represent our four programs, how they are all linked together, and to show how a client can transition from one program to another seamlessly, or enter directly into the program of their choice. [You will find two previously-completed designs/ illustrations that were not accepted.] We are looking for a graphic that: • The community-based continuum of care that includes a varied range of practices and services to anyone adversely affected by mental illness, including: o Inpatient: A residential home with 24/7 care where patients come to live and safely work on their independence o Outpatient: When reintegrated into the community, our patients can continue coming to outpatient facility to receive therapy and life skills o Supportive housing: 30+ low/no income apartments next to the outpatient center o Integrated Care Clinic: a free clinic with medical, dental and behavioral health care available to the community • Has some element of all 4 programs combined into one graphic/ represented graphically o Speaks to the 4 different programs of Sanctuary, our "Continuum of Care" • Makes viewers, patients and family members feel like they are going to be looked after and cared for every step of the way as they work toward independence • Please note, eventually this graphic will be made “interactive” by a web designer, in that it will be subsequently animated and clickable, if this affects your design process.
