ANGRY PLANET/SCI-FI MOVIE POSTER!

Halcyon Int'l is a worldwide licensor of independent feature films - with a special focus on sic-fi and fantasy.

A new poster/one sheet for a completed feature entitled, ANGRY PLANET. Set in the distant future, a man, wrongfully convicted of murder, returns to the prison planet where he was an inmate to seek retribution and extract revenge.
The design approach for the new artwork should be modern and say, “sci-fi”. The new artwork must have the professional, polished look and feel of a studio motion picture. There should be a strong emphasis on the title font, color and placement. There is no need to include the credit block.

The title treatment needs a complete overhaul in font selection, size, placement and execution.
Still images have also been upload of the tortured man and of space.
The image of the tortured man should be worked to look like the Undead – sallow skin, zombie eyes, bloodied mouth.
Another concept approach would be an image of an android/cyborg-esque soldier off center with a harsh terrain and planets in the bg. Similar in color and feel to DEADSPACE 3.
Other design concepts/ approaches are welcomed and encouraged. There are examples of other studio posters with polish and the right tonal quality can be downloaded from the FTP folder.
DELIVERY ELEMENTS:
The artwork for should be finished in CMYK for printing at poster size 24x36 w/ 1/4 bleed all around @ 200 DPI.
The PSD file should be fully layered and completely editable. All elements, should be delivered as INDIVIDUAL LAYERS and not as flattened objects. The winning designer will be require to upload the layered PSD file to our company FTP.
