The project is for a set of iPhone app logos, covering the regular and retina display resolutions, for an app called "LetMeKnow". The app is not yet available (in development) and will make it a one-click process for a child to let their parents know where they are (hence the name "LetMeKnow"). For example, a student could open the LetMeKnow app and press the "I'm Home" button which would send a text message to the parent "letting them know" the student had arrived at home. From the Apple website (http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/userexperience/conceptual/mobilehig/IconsImages/IconsImages.html) the app logo needs to be rendered in several sizes: App icons - 57x57 and 114x114 App Store icons - 512x512 and 1024x1024 Launch image - 320x480 and 640x960 Small icon - 29x29 and 58x58 A winning design for the app logo could result in additional business on the app UI. The app will be free (initially) and is being developed by a non-profit blog focused on education issues.
