Getting paid
99designs' safe, secure payment system ensures you are always paid for your work.
Here's everything you need to know about how 99designs handles your invoicing and payouts.
Creating a quote with payment releases
1. When you're ready to start working with a client, click 'Create a quote.' You'll see two options:
Choose Set payment releases. This will allow you to break up your quote into meaningful tasks that you can deliver to your client. You can also include an upfront deposit to begin work if you wish.
2. Your client pays the total amount quoted and the money is securely held with 99designs.
3. Once you’ve completed a task, you can request the payment by clicking the Request button. You’ll see a little orange indicator that highlights the item you’ve requested.
4. The client is notified that you've requested payment for that specific line item and can release the funds to you.
5. Once all funds have been released, the project is marked as Complete.
What does the client see?

Payouts
After the client has released a payment, you can request a payout from 99designs. Under My Account, go to your Earnings page and click Request a Payout.
The minimum you can request is US$25. Check your balance, enter the amount you’d like to request, then select a payment method. You can be paid through either Payoneer or PayPal.

Refunds
Clients may request a refund if they decide to cancel a project. It doesn’t happen often, but if it does, know that 99designs is here to ensure you are paid fairly for all work completed. Any terms that the client agreed to prior to beginning work will be upheld by our support team, including your own policies regarding refunds.
