Business & Consulting
Alcomie is the culmination of 25 years of work with small businesses, medium businesses, and Fortune 500 companies to create, improve, and sustain effective organizational mindsets, beginning from the level of individual transformation. Our work is to embark on a journey with an organization to expand its mindset. We start by understanding what an organization aims to achieve, then what they are doing that helps and/or hinders that achievement, and finally, delving into the level of mindset to shift perspectives and approaches in order to achieve results. Our target audience consists of business executives, specifically in senior leadership, managing director, or talent development roles at their respective organizations. We have worked with businesses in many different industries, from software to government.
What's your vision?
We need a character that represents an individuals' mind, which can hold pieces of equipment. The character should: - Character should be a representation of a person's mind (thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc.) - Balance between professional and fun. Has to work with business-type people - The character will hold 1 piece of equipment at a time - It will be the same base character in all cases; the only change will be stance, equipment (as per the conditions below). - Ideally be a simple 3D image. Attached a piece of inspiration that we have been inspired by (from 16 Personalities) - Be androgynous. Does not have to necessarily be a human figure (i.e. it could be an anthropomorphized brain or other object). Just needs to be able to hold/wear various objects - Optional: a geometric look would fit well with our brand guide, but we are open to ideas All together we will need: - 1 character - 12 poses, each showing the character with 1 piece of equipment at a time (see list below) - Separate file with the pieces of equipment on their own The equipment, and some guidelines about how the character should be posed with each item, is as follows: 1. Mask: character should be hunched over, hiding with the mask in front of the face. 2. Fire extinguisher: Leaning pack while putting out flames (item should be in use) 3. Hammer: Bent over hammering something 4. Shield: Holding shield up and leaning back slightly 5. Envelope with a wax seal (sealed): Carefully holding it with both hands, while making a motion of giving it to someone. Seal should be visible. 6. Surrender flag: One knee down on ground, holding flag 7. Crown: Wearing on head, standing very proud, with chest puffed out 8. Torch: leading the charge with the torch in front 9: Blueprint plans: holding the plans in front of the face to view them, blocking anything else that's in front - totally absorbed in plans over reality 10: Running shoes with wings: In mid-stride, running (communicating "super speed") 11: Megaphone: Standing tall, megaphone listed to moth to loudly communicate message 12: Sword: lunging forward with a medium sized sword in motion as if to strike an opponent
We originally thought that the character would be an anthropomorphized brain, but are definitely not 100% committed to that image! Happy to see what you can come up with to symbolize the mind. It's important to us that the character communicate the entire mind (thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc). I've included some examples of what is communicated in the assessment results for additional reference. Have fun!
