Looking for Digital Pet for Mental Wellness App

We are building a mobile application designed to promote mental wellness practices such as expressing gratitude and mindfulness.

We are looking for a digital pet for a mental wellness app we are building. The mascot will be the user's living companion in the app - every time the user completes an activity that is good for their mental wellness, the pet's happiness will go up, and when time passes without the user completing such activities, the pet's happiness will go down slightly. We are therefore looking for a pet designed in a way that users will want to care for it and love it like a real pet.

Qualities we are looking for in the design:
- Cute in a way that makes people feel joy when they see it
- Appeals to all audiences - male and female, young and old
- A bit quirky or goofy, fun, with upbeat personality
- No gender
- No clothing, but designed in a way that clothing can be added in the future
- Able to do a range of human-like actions
- Able to show a range of emotions

Other comments:
- A dog fits the ideal persona the most, but feel free to design another animal or even an imaginary animal
- Some examples of similar pets/characters are attached
