Kid Characters for childrens instruction book.

Education

Our organization teaches elementary and middle school students online with project based learning. We teach 3D modeling, printing and making while we teach kids S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)

We would like 4 characters designed. There are three kids, age range is 10-14. One mouse. They will be used as part of a story that instructs the student how to do the project successfully. They will be printed in an instruction manual. Below is a bio on each character and their personality. All three kids are Dora the Explorer types. • Alysha: dark complexion. could be latin or east indian. neat, leader, driven, climate change knowledge, a little bit bossy, passionate • Austin: light complexion. white kid. long haired naturalist kid. a little messy. adores sports and animals, has pet mouse, easily excited and/or distracted. Skateboarder • Jane: black or brown complexion. hair - afro or braids. science nerd, creative in building and using instruments, patient, bit of an introvert. • Beamer (the mouse): white, can stand up. generally a happy disposition, more mature than the kids. basically the adult. Willing to help. Scares easily. I don't want to stunt your creativity but I included two pictures that a general direction I am thinking about for the characters. I hate to say "Disney-like" but along that vein. These images will be scattered throughout the instruction manual to help drive the storyline and tasks that the student needs to accomplish. Would like a full body, full color design for each character. Once complete, I would love bust shots of each with different facial expressions. If you want to put in additional props and background that is fine. If this is too much for this contest, I will limit this contest to the original 4 full bodies and discuss the other illustrations after the contest has concluded. The winner and myself can work on the additional illustrations afterwards.
