We are hoping there might be a way to evolve our current logo, which we have used for the past 6 years. Our therapists began their careers as "Athletic Therapists", working extensively with sports injuries. Our current logo includes an image of a runner, which is a great representation of who we once were as a company.
However, our clinic has evolved into an osteopathic treatment centre. While we still treat sports injuries, it is a much smaller part of our business than it was a few years ago. Now we treat everyone, from infants, to pregnant women, to very fit athletes, to seniors. We are known for our hands-on treatment and gentle manipulation - we are considered a gentler alternative to chiropractic in the minds of many of our clients.
Ideally our logo would be able to evolve with us, but still have some recognizable elements so it is not completely foreign to our existing clients. Perhaps a similar colour scheme? An evolution of the runner into something that can appeal to a wider demographic? We are open to ideas and looking forward to seeing what your design experts can envision.
One major obstacle for us with our current brand is that it leads people to believe we only treat athletes. We have seniors come to us saying "I didn't think I was the type of patient you worked with." We are hoping our brand evolution can be more inclusive and inviting.
I have attached an image of our current logo. I'm not sure if it might be a good starting point, or if we'd be better off scrapping it entirely and moving forward. If you need a better look at the logo, our website is: procareathletictherapy.ca
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
