Group of 2 plastic surgeons, that do about 50% reconstruction (breast cancer) and other trauma associated cases, hand trauma, and 50% cosmetic surgery cases.
We want to grow the cosmetic side of the practice, but still making our reconstructive breast cancer patients feel comfortable and welcome here. This is an upscale, practice that is the real deal, highly trained in micro surgery, hand surgery as well as cosmetic, these guys are legit and have trained for 9 years on top of med school to do what they do. They are 2 from just selected few that can do the certain complex types of reconstructive cases in south Florida, they are young and on cutting edged. They want to appeal to the mommy makeover demographic and the age defying seekers, yet not becoming an assembly line for cosmetic procedures. Every patient is different and should get different results. Too many surgeons are out there doing the same procedure on every patient making them look all the same. Vanguard is several steps above, they fine tune their procedures for every patient, and making them look like themselves, yet just refreshed versions of themselves. The competition in south Florida is huge, so we have to stand out with prestige, and spark something new and cutting edge to the public. The logo has to represent us perfectly. It has to be strong yet inviting. We want our patients to feel like they're stepping into our private homes as guests when coming into the office. We want staff that are sweet, pleasant and charming. This logo will be on billboards in the area and if this works out for us we will have you make our design for that as well!
We are looking for a logo that isn't your typical plastic surgery logo, which is a form of a women's body. We need to stand out, be different, so we could incorporate the woman's form but it just can't be the design as a whole. We like the look of a crest or circular emblem, modified letter mark. Something unique, but still looks medical, almost academic looking. Vanguard means- the forefront in any movement. This should be represented in the design. I think the colors should be pretty neutral, and natural looking, organic. If anything we are using the following on the inside: light maple wood floors and ceilings, light blues/teals and white, glass and metals throughout, the furniture will be mid-century modern but relaxed.
