Elegance, Strength, Heritage
Custom handcrafted furniture and woodwork utilizing traditional joinery designed to last for generations. We sell our products to individuals, couples or businesses looking to increase the quality of life or visual appeal within their home or place of business.
I picked "journey crafted" to emphasize that true craftsmanship is developed out of the struggle and tenacity of success and failure. That the product of this effort is enduring and steadfast. And that the road is as enjoyable as the destination. I like good storytelling through symbol. I will be very interested in a design that helps communicate these themes. I also love timber frame architecture, otters, and rivers. I have uploaded a number of pictures showing the tools and joinery (how wood can be put together to form joints) that I like the use. The Roubo bench was designed in the 1700s and is still used today. There are some timber-frame houses built in medieval Europe that are still standing. Timber-framing architecture and the Roubo bench both represent the timeless heritage of fine woodworking and craftsmanship to me.
