Entertainment & The Arts
*NOTE: the "avec / with" between "Viva Voce" and "Daniel Goldwater" is the refer the bilingual-but-French-first culture of Montreal and Quebec. The backslash can be played with an even be a bullet point or whatever. The "avec" must come before the "with". * NOTE: I attached in the Reference section podcast cover arts for podcasts by Monocle and Bloomberg. Consider them benchmarks, inspirations. I like classy visual style that's one part traditional, two parts modern, a touch of business and a dash of warmth, authenticity and playfulness. Video podcast featuring authentic one-on-one interviews mostly with lawyers in the Montreal, Quebec and Canadian space. I'm the host, Daniel Goldwater. I'm a lawyer. Target audience are practicing attorneys, law students, law professors and intellectuals in Montreal. I will speak in the language of my guests who will be either French or English speaking. Most will likely be English. My guests generally lean centrist or a bit corporate/conservative in their values. Listeners will likely lean a bit more left, but near the centre. The tone of the show will be warm but professional. We'll start by discussing the guest's career, their story as to how they go to where they are in the legal industry. The core of the conversation will be about what's trending in their field, the challenges they face. The show will wrap-up with a discussion about how the guest feels their legal community can be helped, how justice could be better-served and how we should better define our legal values. Hope that helps!
The mood is professional, authentic, modern, legal, tradition, with a pinch of playfulness. Target audience are gen X, millennial and maybe generation-Z lawyers, law students, people orbiting legal industry in Montreal, Québec and, to a lesser extend, all of Canada and North-East USA I need a whole branding identity where my concerns are ranked as follows: 1. Podcast cover art (so must be easy on the eyes on a small smartphone screen) 2. Button-size logo without text for website deisgn 3. The branding must lend itself to a light animation as an intro + outro logo video when I cast on YouTube and do some Facebook auto-play ads of thirty-second best-of clips 4. I will be using the brand identity package on a Square Space page, so check out their templates, particularly the Wav one I'll be using
