Corto Maltese has been an outstanding professional to work with, throughout the process of designing my book cover. She has been extremely patient and attentive, happily making design tweaks - even after the competition ended and payment was made. She is very hardworking, making sure that the design met my expectations. I was particularly impressed with her eye for composition and colour. I am very happy with the design and would not hesitate to recommend her work to others. I hope to call on her services again for similar work in the future.

Great work as always.
Fabulous work and responsiveness!
What a great experience. Flexible, creative, and understanding.
AleMiglio did many edits, early and often, right to the very end with no complaints! He was highly attentive and did a wonderful job. We will certainly work with him again.
Moogmadness is very responsive and quick to adjust the design when asked, within minutes even. His design stood out immediately. I liked that he incorporated an animal into the design which added warmth instead of cool aloofness to the logo and additionally will lend itself to a fun brand narrative in the not so distant future

Basically, I'm a one-man outfit. I write a host of things: humor, novels, short stories and novellas, comics, poetry, etc.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I have a comic called "In The Way." It is produced to encourage and entertain those of the Messianic Judaism/Hebrew Roots movement. I have collected the 85-90 comics as well as humorous essays and placed them in a book. I am wanting to appeal to those who share my beliefs.
I am looking for designers who are not only sensitive to this belief system, but perhaps even curious. I'm not looking for "Jewish" themes as much as I'm looking for fun and clean design. Think Alfred Hitchcock posters. Since my comics don't have specific characters, it might be odd to incorporate the comics--yet I'm not against it. That said, I'd rather see something fun and crisp and symbolic rather than a re-hash of what is inside.
I like purple. I would stay away from a black background as it can be seen as somber or even dark. Something bright will do.
I'm needing a design primarily for my ebook (2813 x 4500 pixels), but I'd like it to be adaptable to a printed book (may need 300 dpi file; both are going on Amazon). I have a logo you could use if you like but I'd rather see some fun design with the text.
This Facebook page has a bunch of my comics on it https://www.facebook.com/inthewaycomic/ . You can take a look to see the type of folks that interact and like my posts. Also, there are a bunch of comics posted there as well (although, I'll attach the rough draft of the book. Key word: ROUGH draft. I'm still working on it.
