I love Lila's work so much. So responsive. So intuitive. So lovely to work with. Never disappointed.
reacts really fast, is flexible, and has a huge flexibility what I like a lot
Dalim was wonderful to work with. In the final stage of the contest, I had 3 designers whose work I liked, each one of them working with a quite similar design, but none of them feeling magic. Then, at the last moment, Dalim sailed in with Gold Ink in the title and that was what did it! The image truly clicked. She was very timely about her communication and willing to make whatever changes were desired. My only recommendation was that she let people know she is a woman. Somehow, once I found that out, I felt even happier to have chosen her.
I had a great first experience here. The work was beautiful, my designer was prompt and friendly, and he even helped support me afterward by adjusting dimensions. I would definitely hire him again.
good job did very good work and a good job
Alex's design was so creative and perfectly represented the tone of the book. He was easy to work with and great about making small edits until I was completely satisfied. Fantastic work!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Value Investing Journey is a value investing blog where I dig deep into company financial reports to find undervalued, unloved companies, that have hidden assets or a catalyst in place to help unlock the value of the company. How To Value Invest is my first book describing how I taught myself to become an excellent value investor without going to college and is aimed at beginning to intermediate level value investors.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I want something that is simple yet refined for the investment related world. I am also planning on getting the paperback put into some classrooms and universities as well if that makes a difference in design of the cover. The title of the book is How To Value Invest: How I Taught Myself To Become an Excellent Value Investor and How You Can Too.
I am not a designer or creative at all so if you need any more specific information to help you please let me know.
The book has to be compatible with the following companies sizing requirements for book covers and thumbnails: Amazon Kindle's book cover thumbnail policy, Amazon's Createspace paperback book publisher software, and Smashwords book publishing.
The cover will also need a back cover as well for the paperback. The same general design as the front will work.
As of this point I have never had a logo designed or anything like this for my blog which is valueinvestingjourney.com if you are interested in seeing more of what I write about to get some ideas for design of the cover. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact me.
