Unsubscribe: Living in the digital world without being consumed by it
Software engineer, obsessed with maximizing output by minimizing input.
You need a kill switch. An andon cord. Some way to turn off the always-on chaos that’s been transplanted into the digital world. Higher productivity is found in less screen time, not more. Attention matters more than time. And most people don’t realize that. How we work is changing and I’m rushing to the front lines to explore this new remote-first world. Without the walls of an office to confine our work, we’re left defenseless without boundaries. It’s time to stop living at work and learn to live in the digital world without being consumed by it.
20-60 men and women particularly targeted to knowledge workers. People who spend all day in front of a computer and do not have a way to turn off their minds and devices.
I'm looking to give the book the look and feel of an unsubscribe link. Like that of a newsletter or email list. Using an underscore for the title Unsubscribe. I'm going for a very simplistic but elegant look. One cover that I really like is this: https://www.navalmanack.com/. Background images might be icons of popular applications that bombard you with notifications, facebook, twitter, Linkedin, gmail, iMessage, slack. etc. In my mind, I see them as icons floating around the over with various counts of unread messages.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at €269.
