Octavian was professional, responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I felt safe and confident that my projected was in the best hands possible. Every single one of his designs were intelligently put together and he never "cut corners." I could tell that he takes great pride in his work and truly cares about the happiness of the people he is working for. He was always there to answer my questions, walk me through steps that I needed to do on my own and always did his best to ensure that I felt supported and confident while working with him - which I most certainly did. He was also kind and patient when I had sudden strokes of inspiration that caused me to tweak my vision for the design. I could not be happier with the experience and outcome of his work and I look forward to working with him on any and all of my design needs in the future. Feel confident in working with this designer, he is an absolute gem.
- Ed Davad
Ed was great in offering different ideas and slight variations on the main design. Clean designs and quick turnarounds.
- Barry Privett
Gordan designed my book cover. His design was in a group of about 50 submissions. It stood out among the rest of them and also mirrored my design brief. Working with Gordan is a pleasure on every level. He is a real pro. I can't recommend him highly enough. He deserves a perfect 10 score from me.
How Paddy.crooks started their book cover journey
Who are you known as?
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This book will be about how executives can better structure their businesses for innovation.
Our target audience is senior business executives, and people who head up the innovation function in large businesses.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The book's name is: "The Innovator's Gameplan". The second line is "An executive's guide to unleashing targeted enterprise innovation".
The author is "Patrick Crooks".
I would like the cover to be very fresh, clean, and bold. Because the name has "game plan" in it, I think it is OK for you to add one or two sketched arrows (imagine if a coach was drawing a gameplan on a white board for his team).
I would like the font to be clear and crisp, and the cover to be uncluttered.
Once the contest is narrowed down for the main design (front page and spine), we will work together on the back cover.
