Entertainment & The Arts
I am a screenwriter and director in Los Angeles, California and will be publishing my first book this Winter.
What's your vision?
Assignment: I need an ebook cover designed for my book: 150 Screenwriting Challenges. My name (the author) is Eric Heisserer. This ebook will be published on the Amazon Kindle Store, so the design needs to be bold, exceedingly legible at its full size but especially in a thumbnail on both Amazon's website and on Kindles/iPads, be as eye-catching in RGB color as it is in grayscale, and with the author's name as prominent as the title. Requirements: JPEG format with a maximum of 2500 pixels on the longest side. A ratio of 1600 x 2400 pixels is standard. RGB color. (But, again, please keep grayscale visibility in mind.) Preferences: I prefer a minimal, clean design, but I'm open to all creative interpretations. The only text required on the cover is the title: 150 SCREENWRITING CHALLENGES and the author: ERIC HEISSERER. What It's All For: The book itself is a new take on the screenwriting how-to manual in that it isn't one of those at all. It's a series of challenges, writing exercises, anecdotes, and brainstorming ideas to help strengthen a writer's ability to write dialog, characters, and scenes, conquer writer's block, nail down big ideas, add those necessary finishing touches, and make writing itself a habit. It's more akin to a workbook that can be returned to infinitely, read and used out of order or cover to cover, and referenced when stuck or feeling stagnant. It's fun and creative, not instructional or professorial. It's all about exercising your writing muscles. (Though, let's not take that literally into the design.)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at €269.
