A good day to everyone. A short time ago, I published my first book for Kindle. It has been a learning experience. One of the most important lessons I learned is that a great illustrator isn't necessarily a good cover creator, and that the type setter I contacted didn't exactly do a Kosher job, most probably because he couldn't work on the cover too. So what I need is a new cover for my book, Children of the New Era. Since I fear I may also have imposed some of my personal desires -which do not always coincide with what makes a good cover - I'm not going to give any guidelines. I'd like you to go into this without restrictions. But of course, I'll give you some material to work on. Children of the New Era is a Sci-Fi novel, set in a future where a seemingly freak accident has forced the whole of humanity to evolve, and even gave some of them what amounts to nothing less than superhuman abilities. The book explores, three hundred years after this event, the light and dark sides of a world where these Children of the New Era have integrated into society, focusing on the United Kingdom where the government has come down with an iron fist to control and limit these Skillers, even after they were instrumental to winning the last war. It's structured similarly to Max Brooks' World War Z -as in, it's a fictional non-fiction book-, and it's a prelude to the main book in the series.
