My Rubies Are Gone!
Dominique Daoust is the author of The Deadly Exclusives Trilogy. She is a journalism graduate from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. When not reading or writing, she likes to do yoga, drink margaritas, incessantly quote Friends and listen to rap while doing mundane household chores.
This is a novella relating to a historical cozy mystery trilogy I released in March. It's set in 1927 in Ottawa, Canada.
Typically women who are forty and older, I would say primarily in Canada and the United States.
Since the story is set in the 1920s, Art Deco details would suit the mood. Think also movie posters from the 1930s. The story is about this group of rich socialites who get their jewellery stolen. So comedic elements would work great too.
What to avoid
I don't have any restrictions. I will attach the covers from my trilogy for inspiration.
