As usual, Evan was top class. I can be a bit picky and he was willing to go back and forth with me over the smallest details for a couple of weeks. In the end? The book cover was awesome. Just as I hoped it would. Would recommend and may use again in the future.

I had actually seen Georgina's work on a couple of other book covers in the past and started thinking about how great it would be to get her to design something for me. About a year later, I decided to re-do my book design and I came to 99Designs for that service. I had initially remembered Georgina and looked to see if I could find her, but didn't, so I posted one of her covers as an example to other designers of the type of covers I really liked. A couple of days into the contest I noticed that she had started watching so I immediately invited her to the contest and never looked back! I have been really happy with the quality of work she produced, as well as the depth of options she has provided. I definitely recommend her skill to anyone!
utterly amazing. The best designer I've ever worked with. Thank you
Meella is a true professional. Extremely responsive, fantastic at what she does, great to work with.
She did a spectacular job helping me get the best design I could have hoped for my book. I could not be more happy with the cover she designed, and the whole process working with her. She absolutely crushed it.
Thanks again, Meella!
Creative and responsive, wonderfully easy to work with. Thank you!

The book is a mystery/romance with a bit of supernatural mixed in. Targeted for young adults and up, so 17 years and up. It is the first of three in a planned trilogy.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
My aim for the paperback (5"x8") and e-book cover is just a professional quality image to be proud of. The book basically boils down to being about a boy in college that has the cure for Cancer in his blood that is due to a plethora of transfusions resulting from a car accident in high school with a bit of a supernatural element added in as well. He is unaware of what he his blood is able to do until he is taken captive by a Doctor that he had been selling his blood to. The Doctor had been working towards a cure for her daughter, while also funding and operating a smaller version of the medical X prize. Once The Doctor realizes what his blood is capable of she devises a plan to kidnap our protagonist in order to control the cure, for possibly everything. Meanwhile our hero's girlfriend has been suffering from Leukemia, hiding her illness the best she can from the protagonist and their band of friends . As the story unfolds she begins to worsen. Now not only does she hide her illness but plans to push him and the others away before it's too late. All in an attempt to save him and his family from enduring the devastation her family went through with her own mom's losing battle against breast cancer. Will he be able to make his way back to her in time? Does she even want him to?
I would love an edgy feel to the cover, not looking for photos of people or a couple but other than that the artist should feel to have carte blanche to do as they feel. The word Heart will be in the title of each of the two following books in the trilogy so an illustrated heart of some sort might be nice but not a must.
Although this is my first, I have plans for publishing 2-3 books a year at the very least and would really like to find someone to work with from here on out if all works well. If you have any questions at all just message me, thank you.
