Geoff (Jeff) Woodcock is the founder of the Freeslaves.org project and Acacia Media--a charity focussed on promoting God's design of selfless love. Geoff has four children with his wife Melanie, and lives in Dunedin, New Zealand.
The Brief
Book description
We are living in a time of rapid and intense change. The good news is that God is moving and as long as we keep in step with Him, we can face the future with a sense of vision, hope and optimism. In Five More Minutes, we look beyond the current flood of darkness to see how God is moving in power to bring about His design for His people. As we align with this design, we find the vision to stand firm and the power to take action. This is our time. Join us as we go on a journey with Jesus into a life of love, glory, and overwhelming victory. In terms of ideas for artwork, the book uses the following metaphors: Difficult times as being like fire that purifies the gold (i.e. the times we are in can work to bring out the best in us). The struggle between good and evil being like a battle or war and we need to be people who overcome. The New Jerusalem city as a metaphor for the divine architecture of life, namely a life of selfless love in relationships of unity. The five more minutes is about enduring just for a little longer--this phase of life is not going to last forever.
