What's your vision?
Design new elements for three book covers We are looking for three pieces of cover art in the same style as the cover of Greenstar Season 2. We recently ran a cover design contest for Greenstar Season 2, a comedy science-fiction series. Unfortunately, our designer has been forced to withdraw from providing covers for the rest of the series. We are therefore looking for three pieces of art in the same style for the other three titles. To ensure a consistent look, we want to retain the same typefaces, text layout, and back cover. We are therefore looking for three new versions of Josie (the character on the cover) and potentially the ship or another element. The images do not have to use an identical palette, although they do need to match the style. Please find attached a copy of the season 2 cover and a potential background for season 3 to show the consistent elements. The books are available in e-book as well as print, so - while design elements can extend onto the spine - each piece of art must look good when viewed solely as the front cover. The three covers are: (1) Intro Pack (available as e-book only). Josie (the lead character) is accidentally frozen for centuries and awakens in a crazy future. This cover must be striking in thumbnail and clearly convey that this is science fiction. Since this is the entry point for most readers, it needs to hook them in. (2) Season 1. Josie struggles to find a place in the future. Still keeping with the science-fiction theme. (3) Season 3. Josie and the crew are trapped in a world formed from their hopes and fears. This season is a mix of science-fiction and fantasy, so must have elements that emphasise both genres. Three potential ideas are: -The intro pack could have Josie frozen in space. -The first season could have Josie perhaps shooting an alien. -The third season could have Josie with a sword, being attacked by a seven-headed dragon. These are only suggestions, however and not necessary to win the contest. We are looking for covers that maintain the look of the Season 2 cover, so - while we don't want lifeless copies - please ensure your entries are consistent with that.
Summary: Where Josie (the character) and the spaceship are on the front cover, we're looking for three new sets of character images with potential other elements that we can place on the covers for the other three books.
