Nonfiction book written to single women ages 25-35
What's your vision?
My book is written to Christian single women. The title is The Ineligible Bachelorette and subtitle is Taking a Hard Look at Why You Haven't Found "The One". I'd like The Ineligible Bachelorette to be bigger than the other words and maybe have Ineligible be the biggest word (but the size of the word 'Ineligible' is up to your creative eye! If it looks better same size as other words, then that's fine). I also want the main title to be in block, not cursive, letters. I'd like a modern/simple cover. I personally like more masculine looking covers, but my audience is female, so it should be somewhat feminine. Mostly I do NOT want stock images of faces, people, cute shoes, engagement ring, flowers, etc. on the cover (like you might see on LOTS of other books written to women). I prefer not to have stock images at all, if possible (unless I don't have to pay a licensing fee). I WANT it to look modern, streamlined, simple, and feminine. Book covers on Amazon that I like: "The Chase: Trusting God with you happily ever after." Simplicity and eye-catching title of "Love Does" by Bob Goff. "Love-Ology" by John Mark Comer "Boundaries in Dating" by John Townsend "Garden City" by John Mark Comer "First, Kill All The Marriage Counselors" By Laura Doyle "Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food" Lysa Terkeurst "Seamless" by Angie Smith (I like the simplicity of design, but I'd like much bolder color/font) "Four Things Women Want From a Man" by A.R. Bernard "Understanding Men" by Alex Altman "Sacred Marriage" by Gary Thomas "Things I Wish I'd Known Before We Got Married" by Gary Chapman
I'd like an ebook cover as well. I would use the same front cover you design, but it would need to be jpeg and sized: 2500 pixels high x 1667 pixels wide (height should be 1.5 times the width) and no larger than 50 MB. More about ebook sizing here: https://kdp.amazon.com/help?topicId=A2J0TRG6OPX0VM#dim I'd like the back cover and spine designed as well. Below is the book description, bio, and profile picture that I'd like on the back cover. I'd love for you to create the font/style of the text on the back. Back Cover text: Are you sabotaging your relationships? Finding the person you want to spend your life with is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make, and the fear of choosing poorly can paralyze you into inaction or emotional unavailability. In The Ineligible Bachelorette, Starr Burroughs shares the ways single women allow insecurity, impossible expectations, fear, or a lack of self-awareness to keep them from dating the type of men worth marrying. She breaks down these different challenges and helps you take a hard look at the ways you may be sabotaging potential relationships. She highlights the godly traits you should be looking for in men and offers permission to give guys you might otherwise overlook a chance. Drawing inspiration from her own story, and those of her friends, she shares her personal insights and experiences. This book is full of tough love, while still rooting for the reader to successfully navigate the bumpy road toward marriage. You will feel encouraged and empowered to overcome roadblocks that may be keeping you from God’s plan for your life. Bio (and picture attached--may need to be resized): Starr Burroughs is an entrepreneur who possesses a passion for writing and sharing her insights on the single life. You can check out her blog at www.starrburroughs.com. She is the wife to Sean, and mother to Brooklyn, with another child on the way. Starr and her family live in San Diego, California.
