The Lycanthrope of L.A.
Jason Strine, is a writer who absolutely loves the horror genre. This is the first of many novels he plans to write within that genre. He loves art with dark and gritty tones.
The city of angels has become the city of wolves. Jackie Romero is a young man, age 18, who's life is forever changed when he encounters a lycanthrope(werewolf). If that wasn't bad enough, he also get's caught between a mobsters dirty work by accident. Now Jackie must go through several obstacles in the hopes of fixing his mistakes and returning to a normal life. Along the way he learns a lesson, about what separates a man from a monster.
Young adults and mature teenagers.
Book cover type
The cover I am looking for is very simple. I want the entire background to be grey fur. More so dark grey than light grey. Resting on top of it, in the bottom right corner, is a blue bandana/headband, that the main character typically wears. I will provide a picture for reference (The triangular shape on the bandana/headband is very important). I also wanted a few drops of blood splattered over the fur and headband (not too much). As for the font, I wanted the title's font to be similar to the font style "chiller" in Microsoft Word in red. I will provide a picture of that as well. The author's name does not need to be in that style. On the back, along with the blurb, I wanted to include this quote from the book. Please make the font for this quote bigger than the font for the blurb. The quote is : "...look what I did, Look what I've become. I...I am a monster." The back can have the same grey fur design, it doesn't need blood on it. Please put the blurb in a different colored text box, so that it won't be hard to read.
What to avoid
Please do not overboard with the blood
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
hunterjs9O collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
