What's your vision?
I would like a book cover designed for a children's travel journal (titled "Adventure Kids Travel Journal"). I thought I would design the cover myself, but the finished draft made it painfully obvious that I am a writer, not a graphic designer. I like the concept and basic layout of my draft, and am somewhat fond of the back cover, but something (ok, lots of things) about the front just doesn't work. I have pictograms and a road sign featured because those concepts are currently used for borders within the journal (but could be changed). I would love for someone to take my draft and tweak it to look more visually appealing. I am also open to a completely new theme for the travel journal, especially if it focuses on outdoor travel adventures (all publications by the company aim to promote outdoor activity for families). I generally prefer a minimalist style, but at this point I am open to all ideas. The front and back covers are each 148 x 210 mm (A5). It will be spiral bound, so no spine design is necessary.
Thank you for your time!
