Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Christopher O’Shaughnessy is a passionate and diverse speaker and author who uses a unique blend of story telling, humor, and provocative insight to engage and challenge his audience. What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Create an eye-catching, attention grabbing, fervor-creating book cover
(front, spine, and back) for my forthcoming book, "Arrivals,
Departures, and the Adventures In-Between" which is aimed at young
adults and teens from the international, expat, and cross-cultural
Aimed primarily at young adults (college age) and teens (high school),
the book talks about the issues, strengths and challenges of growing
up internationally but has been designed very specifically to be
"chiefly entertaining... while also teaching" rather than the other
way around. It involves a lot of humor and real life tales of
adventure to convey deeper themes.
As far as concept, beyond the direction above, I'm open to your
creative license and genius!
Just to throw some more ideas out there as far as imagery to support
the theme: passport stamps convey mobility & travel well. For
adventure maybe a collection of some sort: souvenirs maybe? The book
is for teens/young adults who grow up around the world having
adventures in different cultures.
I'll need room on the back for some promotional and descriptive text
(naturally), and am attaching an author's pic just in case that's
