I need an ebook cover for my horror/dark rural fantasy novel, Half-Made Girls. Because this is an ebook cover, it must be legible and attractive at thumbnail size. Note that I'm including a lot of elements below, but I don't expect them all to show up on the cover. Use these as a starting inspiration, but I'm open to whatever great ideas you may have.

Half-Made Girls is the story of one family's desperate battle against the meth-addled cultists of a Lovecraftian bat god. It takes place in the Ozark Mountain country of southern Missouri, a rural area that overrun by drugs, corruption, and corruption poverty.

Imagine American Horror Story: Coven, crossed with Justified, with a healthy dose of the addict side of Breaking Bad mixed in, and you'll be right on with the tone.

The main character is Jonah, the Night Marshal, a raw-boned, wiry man in his early 40s. He has black hair shot through with gray at the temples and his face is lined from years of hunting monsters and drinking too much. Joe wears a Stetson Brimstone hat and carries an ancient, shotgun with oversized, chunky barrels. The weapon is magical, with eldritch runes along each barrel which glow venomous green. The Night Marshal's badge is a silver pentagram inside a circle. It's modeled on the US Marshal badge shown here: http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/File:…-badge.jpg. Joe's badge says Night Marshal, however, and there are Enochian runes around the outside edge. There's also a pentagram in the center of the badge's star.

His daughter, Elsa, also plays a critical role. She is eight years old, with a wild mane of blonde hair. Elsa tends to walk on her hands and feet, and sticks close to her father when working with him. She is able to host spirits, who provide her with information and technical expertise, which she puts to use helping her father solve supernatural crimes. Elsa always wears a clay mask when hosting a spirit, and the eyes glow a deep blue when a spirit is in residence. Elsa wears simple dresses without shoes.

The three primary antagonists are the Half-Made Girls. These are all girls in their early teens, who were used by the meth cult to summon the bat god. All of the girls are dressed in bloody white dresses. All have innocent, delicate features. All have dark hair.

The first girl has only her right hand and no feet when she is found by the Night Marshal - her left arm and both legs look whittled down to grisly points of bone, with exposed muscle up to the elbow and knees, respectively. She hovers a bit above the ground when on the move.

The second Half-Made Girl is a mess - all of her bones except for her skull and teeth were removed. She slithers along the ground like a mass of deformed serpents.

The last girl has no lower jaw. It appears as if someone grabbed her by the jaw and tore down, ripping flesh away down to the middle of her chest. Her tongue flails around in the air. This girl also has Ectrodactyly. Both of her hands have a single thumb and finger, both of which are enlarged and elongated.

Bats play a critical role in the book. Demonic bats with a single, three-pupilled eye are one of the main weapons of the bat god. These are big, ugly things that travel in a huge flock.

The three-pupilled eye is the 'tell' for cultists. It's the sign of the giant bat god, which appears at the end of the book. Cross chtulhu with a giant, cyclopean bat and you get the picture.

Big, creepy houses are prominent in the book. These should be big, old, gothic midwestern farmhouses with plenty of rot and ruin on display. Meth cultists aren't big on housecleaning.

This is the first in a series of books, so it should have a format that can be used going forward on other books. The title, (Half-Made Girls), the series information (A Pitchfork County Novel), and my name should all be prominently displayed in such a way that the same basic format can be applied to future books.
