I sell ebooks that help people overcome their anxiety in their personal relationships and finding things that add meaning and value to their life.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am releasing a book titled “An Insiders Guide To Discovering Your Life Purpose without All The Anxiety”. The cover (just the front) needs to be simple and bold – something that will pop in Amazon’s Kindle store as a thumbnail. As noted in the Amazon Kindle direct publishing site (https://kdp.amazon.com/help?topicId…TRG6OPX0VM) the best quality should be 2500 pixels on the longest side with an Ideal height/width ratio of 8:5.
The book is about doing things you truly care about, rather than the things other people or society tells you to care about it. It offers 5 days of exercises to begin taking the action to discover one’s life purpose. Unlike other books, I believe society creates a lot of anxiety to find our life purpose, and my solution is not to figure out what it is, but rather to discover what people can do with their time that is both meaningful and will make them feel important. I believe discovering our life purpose is the result, not the cause, of doing things that add meaning to our life.
The imagery should make the viewer feel like they are transcending/overcoming the current life purpose obsessed culture we live in by reading the book. People should feel that by reading the book, they will gain insights that will lead to happiness and meaningful success for them.
Please include my name "Kyle Benson" at the bottom of the book cover.
It’s critical that the book “pops off the shelf” and catches the eye. The most important part of the design for me is “does it sell,” not “does it look pretty.” So it is important that it catches the eye, is very polished, and very engaging/interesting.
