Entertainment & The Arts
I have just finished writing a crime fiction book based on the melbourne underworld. it is a chilling tale about a young man who survived 10 years in organised crime without conviction or exposure, which is why i called it living in the shadows. the person in the book is a violent psychopath, and a true criminal mastermind. he defied all the odds and became one of the most dangerous criminals society has ever seen and lived to tell the tale.
What's your vision?
the book is called-Living in the Shadows and the Author is Tyler Nightman. i have an idea for this cover that i'd really like to pursue. so the setting is a cold, dark alley way. maybe a street light or steam coming from an underground vent, dumpster etc. with a shadow cast on the wall. thats the background. in the foreground to the right hand side, there is a wall corner. a man in the darkness has his back to the wall looking around the corner whilst trying to remain un detected. the whole thing is black and white (greyscale), except his eyes are glowing a faint red colour to represent the evil criminal he is. he is looking around the corner whilst holding a gun in preparedness for a confrontation. this cover is only half of the whole picture. my second book will feature the other half so when placed together, makes one big picture. the other half of the picture will show a gang walking along the wall, fast approaching the guy who is waiting for them.
i would like to use my design idea if possible; however if you have another idea that suits the theme, great. think underworld figure, psychopath, guns, girls, crime, violence, dark streets, gangster. i have attached some pictures to help paint a picture of what im looking for.
