What's your vision?
We have an existing novel which is the first in a series of what will be three or possibly four novels, all thrillers with a blend of technology, business and crime. What is wanted are: - a common cover design that will stand out on Amazon, iBooks, etc - a cover design for Book 1 - a cover design for Book 2 - be adpatable for Book 3, 4, etc. The current cover for Book 1 (to be replaced) can be found at http://amzn.to/1KetQcY. The back cover words are: The HolyPhone Confessional Crisis is a technology, crime and church thriller. The Vatican introduces HolyPhones (based on smartphones) into confessionals in Europe and the Americas. These connect those who to confess to the Vatican Confessional Call Centre, in part to improve the workload of priests but as much to generate new income for the Church. An alliance – of an American lady whose father runs a southern fundamentalist church, an Israeli pro-Settler technology genius, an ex-banker turned priest and a lady member of Opus Dei – conspire, for their own very different reasons, to cream off part of the HolyPhone’s confessional revenues. The cardinal in charge has suspicions and brings in the half Spanish/half English conceiver of the HolyPhone, an Irish policeman and an Australian lady computer crime expert to find out if there is a problem and, if there is, to try to solve it. More than the Church’s credibility is at stake. For Book 2 the back cover words are: Davide Shape is a half-Spanish, half-English catalyst of the improbable who returns to Spain to assist growing an American client’s business. Realising the chances of success are receding and suspicious about why, he asks Caterina Certaldo, his Australian partner from the Holyphone Confessional Crisis, to come to Madrid and analyse what’s wrong. She does, bringing with her Emilia, a fellow Australian and bi-sexual colleague, and all too soon corrupt business practices emerge. Davide, Caterina and Emilia are joined by Ana (valued for her local knowledge) and backed by the powers of Garibey de Williams, a frustrated investigating judge. As they pursue connections they uncover a cat’s cradle of deliberate deceit which reaches deep into not only into business but beyond to the Church, Opus Dei as well as politicians. Soon their activities call into question the viability of major elements of the Spanish State.
