Here is the synonpsis.  My thoughts about how to get there are below

Twelve year old Sammy Dambrosi, and her eccentric best friends eagerly await the release of the fourth installment of the most popular book series ever written.  The theft of the few advance copies to be auctioned for charity heightens the mystery surrounding the anonymous writer who uses the pseudonym Shelley Dubois.

 At home, Sammy sees her parents’ marriage in trouble.  In her mind she connects the imminent death of a main character in Dubois’ latest edition with the impending demise of her parent’s marriage.

 For Sammy, the mystery surrounding the author takes on a new level of excitement when Van, the good looking new kid, privately shares his mom’s connection with Dubois, who surprisingly happens to live in their hometown of Austin.  Sammy seizes the opportunity to find the mysterious author in an attempt to affect the ending to the series.

         As the story cleverly unravels Sammy sets aside her prescribed destiny to find the truth is shockingly closer than she thinks.   

The novel is Middle to upper grade fiction. Please see attached.

The story is about a 12 year old girl and her friends trying to discover and connect with the anonymous author of an extremely  popular book series in an attempt to affect the ending.

Varied artistic concepts on discovery and connection theme are appreciated.

FYI a 12 year old girl is generally 5'- 5' 5" and around 100 lbs and still lean.

Please note that there book does not involve magic or time travel of any kind.  It is about a Middle school girl who sees events in her life heading one way and trying to affect changes and situations so they go another. This is definitely realistic fiction.
