Drafts got their new banner ad by running a design contest:
Saint Mary's University Centre for Leadership Excellence (CLE) needs a new banner ad
Check out Drafts's Banner ad contest…
The Centre for Leadership Excellence (CLE) is interested in partnering with organizations across sectors to build shared value by co-creating and mobilizing knowledge about best practices in leadership and governance for workplaces of the future, capitalizing on changing demographics, technology, diversity, and innovation.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a banner design that will be used on a standing physical banner. YES. I know that I have posted this contest in the WEB banner section. However, I am looking for the creativity and vibrancy that I have seen in this section versus the 'signage' section. We are looking for a design that is scalable to the dimensions of 850mm (wide) x 2.1m. (tall) for a standing physical trade show banner/sign. The sign will be placed behind the speaker's podium on a stage in front of an auditorium of invited guests or in the back of a tradeshow booth. We are looking for creativity and vibrancy of design. There is an existing logo that has to be placed in the banner in some manner and there also should be a QR code placed so that it is useable to those standing in front of the sign. Both of these will be provided. Further, although the description of the centre is provided. ("The Centre for Leadership Excellence (CLE) is interested in partnering with organizations across sectors to build shared value by co-creating and mobilizing knowledge about best practices in leadership and governance for workplaces of the future, capitalizing on changing demographics, technology, diversity, and innovation.) we encourage creativity in coming up a with a tag line or slogan that could encapsulate in a few brief words what the mission statement is attempting to convey. There you have it. We are looking for an visually interesting, eye catching, and creative physical banner graphic and slogan. The uninspiring website is: http://www.smu.ca/institutes/cle/. There is a chance that this work could lead to Leadership website design work.
The existing logo to be used is: http://www.smu.ca/institutes/cle/images/clelogo.jpg Please imagine that you are a young professional or business owner. What would inspire you to engage with this centre. *****The files required are: Print file format - .ai (CMYK) and pdf Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB) and Vector format.***** ******Do not use any stock images, licensed images or clip art*******
