Your Instrument offers a specific online platform to buy and sell musical instruments and equipment. It provides a hub for retailers and private sellers to buy and sell (list) in an industry specific environment.
What's your vision?
This will be the first design project of many as we look to customise the whole site, so we would look to work with the winning designer or more projects. The banner ad size is 840x240. We need 3 banner ads designed to convey our 3 most important messages to our users and visitors, that will be rotated on the homepage of our website. We'd like the 3 banner ads to work together in terms of design and flow as they'll be rotating constantly one after the other. They don't all need to be exactly the same, but must flow and have some kind of relationship to one another and the site. As for the design of the banner ads, the creative is completely up to you, as long as each banner ad portraits a strong message/call to action and conveys exactly what we're asking for. The first banner ad will be tailored to Private Sellers who may have old instruments lying around at home, not being used and people looking to sell their secondhand instruments. The banner ad must catch their attention, make them think about selling their secondhand instrument and then encourage them to do it on our site. Not only do it on our site, but do it for FREE by using the coupon code "tell a friend". See the current banner ad if you're unsure of what i mean. Please use the following text as the headline on the banner ad. " Get something back for your un-used instrument today." The second banner ad is to target the Music Retail Stores who aren't using the site to list on currently. The banner ad needs have some clear messages. - Industry specific platform advertising your instruments and store to your direct target market. - Free 3 month trial with no commitments. - We set up your account and upload all your inventory for you. I'd really like the imagery of the banner ad to get retailers who may be struggling or retailers who may be skeptical, to make them think along the lines of "what's the harm of having a go, let's do it". Please use the following text as the headline on the banner ad. " Are you a Musical Instrument Retailer?" "Start getting more leads, customers and sales today!" We would like the 3rd and final banner ad to encourage visitors and users to the site to tell a friend about our site. Whether they know a friend, family member, fellow student or even someone who owns a musical instrument store` that is looking to sell their own instrument or buy themselves a new instrument, we want them to tell that person to check out our site first. We want people to start telling their friends and family, "wow you should see this new musical instrument site i came across the other day, it's insane". This is what the banner ad must convey.
By no means do we want to interfere with the creative what so ever, but some themes we'd like the banner ads to stick by are cutting edge, sleek, modern, fresh, vibrant. We're working towards trying to become a lifestyle brand that people want to be associated with. And the design of the overall website will soon have that feel as subtle changes are slowly introduced over the next 6 months.
