Development of iPhone applications
What's your vision?
We are looking to redesign and rebrand an existing iPhone application - Football Rumours (see http://itunes.apple.com/app/football-rumours/id391286992) - we are restyling this as Football Rumours 2012. We require a total of four screens for the app to function and a splash screen to start (see annotated wireframe - FR-2012-1.0.pdf) : Image 1 - Splash screen with the Football Rumours logo and text Image 2 - Latest News Screen (see annotated wireframe for detail) Image 3 - Popular Stories Screen (see annotated wireframe for detail) Image 4 - Notifications Screen (see annotated wireframe for detail) Note: these designs should also support landscape mode as well
We will require a layered .psd file (this should be 640 x 960 pixels to support retina) for each screen so that we can crop/cut out all of the design elements and include them in the app. I've attached some images that I like to give you a rough idea of what to look for in your designs - but do also feel free to surprise me ! iPhone_Design1 - quite like the background effect and I think the blue stands out nicely. iPhone_Design2 - Think this is a really clean design - like the use of colours - like the way how the title becomes part of the page iPhone_Design3 - Nice splash screen - think I prefer the slightly darker background than in iPhone_Design1 iPhone_Design6 - Quite like the clipboard type effect although this design looks a little cheap iPhone_Design9 - See the home navigation icon in the top left hand corner - like this iPhone_Design12 - Like these sharing buttons and the way they fit with the design. iPhone_Design13 and iPhone_Design13a - This is my latest app (see also http://itunes.apple.com/app/football-sticker-quiz/id493537079)- so this should give you an idea of what I like iPhone_Design14 - Really like the look and feel of this app - like the potential navigation options at the top with the drop down boxes - this could potentially work for our app iPhone_Design15 - This is an interesting navigation option and again one that could work for our app I'm not a designer and I'm giving you free reign to use your creative licence - make it fun and simple (make sure you keep the kits from the first version) but with a professional (good looking app) feel. Any questions or feedback feel free to ask.

It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
MikeJW collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
